Mission Statement
Efficiency Meets Innovation
Humanity faces an existential crisis due to climate change.
We have to electrify everything and use electricity from renewable sources.
We're nearly out of time.
Our greenhouse gas budget will be used up in less than 4 years (with business as usual).*
The largest potential source and lowest-cost form of electrical energy is solar (PV).
Therefore, we need to be deploying as much solar as we can, as quickly as possible.
We propose the use of autonomous vehicles to increase productivity.
We also propose ballasted solar mounting techniques on the ground.
These replace conventional techniques that use lots of steel, driven piles, and racking assemblies.
We have three patents awarded and one more full patent filed.
Our first prototype, "Modulator Uno", dispensing Sollega tubs, has started field testing.
See you at INTERSOLAR 2026, 18-20 Feb, in San Diego, CA!

Feedback that Drives Change
"Dr. Carter is a national treasure. Major fanboy here."
Charles Picard, Director of Codes and Standards, Energy Storage, SEIA
"Nicholas Carter, PhD of Solar Installation Machines, LLC keeps on epitomizing early disruption. How many times is he going to show us what the future looks like? Humans leading robot crews is how solar will be installed…actually it’s how solar should be installed right now."
Patrick Fleming, former COO, Powerfield Energy
"You helped that team get there! [Re: 1 million Tesla Powerwalls installed] Was great to see you too Nick, all the best with the launch"
Jan Gromadzki, Sr. Staff Business Development Manager
