  • What is the back story for Solar Installation Machines?
See our Mission Statement here [https://www.solarinstallationmachines.com/about]
  • Is this approach applicable on rooftops?
The machines and approach could work on low-slope roofs but our current priority is building ground-mounted PV systems. The number of obstacles on a typical commercial rooftop and the increase in liability
  • Can the machines be used to install other mounting systems?
Currently the design dispenses Sollega FastRack 510 tubs.
  • Can you share machine specifications?
The bare chassis specifications can be found here [https://burro.ai/burro] Note that the XL expansion kit and 36" top tray are used in this application. The tub feed mechanism adds approximately 150 lbs of weight and 44.5" to the width of the chassis.
  • What is the current status of Solar Installation Machines?
We have the pre-production tub deployment machine built on the Burro XL chassis and ready for use. The paver delivery mechanism will be in prototype form soon. Once those are both deployed we will work on the PV module delivery mechanism.
  • What do I supply to Solar Installation Machines in order to work with you?
Using your plan set we can derive the machine path(s) required for Sollega tub delivery. These are then transferred to the machine(s) via the cloud and ready to execute.
